2008 Point Tournament Format
Sycamore Hills offers a unique competition during the golf season for Club Members only. During the season, there are designated tournaments that members can choose to play in. Players gain points based on the finishing place of their team. Many summers end with members agonizing over changing family plans, in order to gain "entry points" into late season tournaments.
The scoring for this season long competition is as follows:
 | 1 point for every entry |
| 1 point for 4th place |
| 2 points for 3rd place |
| 3 points for 2nd place |
| 5 points for 1st place |
Prizes for this competition are as follows:
| 1st place $300 |
| 2nd place $200 |
| 3rd place $100 |
Prizes will be awarded towards 2009 membership
